Certificate of Higher Education in Theology and Biblical Studies


The Cert HE in Theology and Biblical Studies course comprises 6 theology modules (which are extended versions of the Moore College correspondence course) plus a shorter study skills module:

There are 3 compulsory theology modules:

  • Gospel of Mark
  • The Pentateuch (Genesis – Deuteronomy)
  • Doctrine of God

And a compulsory study skills module, for those who are not already graduates

Students also complete 3 out of the following 5 modules:

  • Acts
  • Apologetics
  • Early Church History
  • Reformation Church History
  • Romans

Each module requires approximately 10-12 hours of study per week and is assessed via a range of methods including essays, exams and book reviews.

Fees: A unversity registration fee of £525. Each module costs £99. Discount rates are available for those on low incomes.
