Sample Papers
Not sure what to expect from an exam? Want to practice some questions? Appreciate the chance to sit a mock? Then why not try a sample paper?
Sample papers give you an idea of how exam questions will be phrased and the types of topics that are likely to be covered. They are not past papers (we don't release those!) but are typical of the kinds of papers that are set by the Open Bible Institute.
Students on the Certificate in Theology course from Moore College can download a sample paper here:
- Christian Worship - Sample Paper
- Doctrine Three - Sample Paper
- Early Church History - Sample Paper
- Intro to the Bible - Sample Paper
- Promise to Fulfilment - Sample Paper
- Reformation Church History - Sample Paper
Students on the Cert HE programmes should contact the office for guidance on exam questions. A sample exegesis paper, as mentioned in the ‘How to Write an Exegesis Paper’ leaflet, is below. (Students should note this is not a ‘perfect paper’ but an example from a recent student which shows good practice):
